Batter up! It April in Zionsville and that means it’s time for Little League baseball and softball, and a whole host of other fun outdoor Zionsville springtime activities in our fair and fine community.

Before we list some of the many local activities you can enjoy in town this spring, let’s first focus on the Zionsville Little League. The ZLL, which was incorporated as a not-for-profit all-volunteer organization in 1974, plays its games in Lions Park. The games are played on Saturday mornings and afternoons, as well as weekday evenings, except Thursday.

Participating in Little League provides a great way to pull kids (boys and girls, ages 6-18) away from video games and into the great outdoors. In a recent interview with Zionsville’s Mayor Tim Haak, we learned that he spent some of the most memorable moments of his youth playing baseball in the ZLL—and look at the success he’s achieved since then.

Even if you don’t have know anyone playing in the ZLL, watching the games or just hanging in the park is a relaxing activity that anyone in the community can enjoy. Plus you can indulge in some tasty treats from the snack stand! Click this link for 2016 schedule of Zionsville Little League games.

Now, let’s take a look at just a few of the many other events you can enjoy in Zionsville this spring:
