Indiana Historical Society’s Festival of Trees – Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-5pm / Sunday noon-5pm – This year’s festival will be double the fun from last year, as the tree count has increased from 25 to 50. Daily family activities include sing-alongs and the ongoing Elf on the Shelf contest on the IHS Facebook page. Upcoming weekend activities include a visit from a vintage Santa, winter face painting, and the Melchior Marionettes. Carmel Winter Farmers Market – 9am-12pm – Featuring more than 20 vendors selling a cornucopia of locally produced foods such as herbs, vegetables, fruit, plants, meat, poultry, fish, honey, and wine. The Ramsey Lewis Quartet – The In Crowd & Hang On Ramsey 50th Anniversary – 8pm – In the mid ’60s, Ramsey Lewis was the nation’s most successful jazz pianist, topping the charts with “The ‘In’ Crowd” and “Hang On Sloopy.” Both singles each sold over one million copies, and were awarded gold discs.
